WVSNP grant? There is more money available now than in past years thanks to FOHO WV. $450,000 additional dollars were added to the WVSNP fund as a grant from Mug-Z-Moo fund given to FOHO WV for spay neuter throughout our state. In 2017, when FOHO WV’s bill got funding for the state grant, they requested $900,000 but were only granted by law approximately $450,000. (Remember, this is not taxpayer dollars!)
This additional money actually provides full funding to the state grant!
And, thank you FOHO WV for the WVSNP program and now for its additional funding. We also want to thank the WV Dept of Agriculture for its strong support and administration of this fund. We have not forgotten those volunteers who sit on the WV Spay Neuter Advisory Committee too.
